Coil voltage

(UOut [VDC])

Coil voltage (UOut [VDC]) refers to the electrical DC voltage that is applied to the terminals of a coil or emitted by it. It is measured in volts direct current (VDC) and depends on the inductance of the coil, the current flowing through it and external factors such as the frequency or the type of control. In practice, the coil voltage provides information about the energy conversion or transmission in electromagnetic systems, for example in relays, transformers or electric motors.
