The half-wave rectifier PME 400-S only allows alternating current to pass in one direction and blocks the other. This generates periodically interrupted direct current from alternating current.

The PRECIMA half-wave rectifiers are used to supply power to spring-applied brakes and other DC consumers from an AC voltage (max. 400 VAC). They are available for AC or DC switching. The Precima rectifiers are protected against overvoltage by varistors in the input and output.
Example: A voltage supply of 230 VAC results in a coil voltage of 103 VDC.
