PRECIMA develops and manufactures electromagnetic brake solutions for demanding applications in vehicle washing systems and industrial cleaning systems where precision, exceptional reliability and durability are required.
Our electromagnetic spring-applied brakes, such as those in the FDW series, are used particularly in complex environments with water, moisture and chemical influences – such as those found in modern washing systems. They offer braking torques from 5 to 600 Nm and are designed as robust, low-wear holding or service brakes. Protection class IP65 to IP66 ensures reliable operation even under the particularly demanding conditions found in cleaning systems.
Our brakes are designed for continuous operation in S1 mode, e.g. in car washes or parts washers and offer additional options such as mounting flanges, manual release and standstill heating. This means they meet the high requirements for functionality and safety in industrial cleaning processes.
