Electromagnetic brakes for Gate operators

PRECIMA develops and manufactures electromagnetic spring brakes for industrial door drives that guarantee maximum reliability and durability. Our proven FDB and FDS series are impressive low-maintenance brake solutions for demanding applications – from high-speed and sectional doors to roller doors. With braking torques from 1 to 1,500 Nm, they offer precise motion control and maximum safety, even under extreme conditions.

As holding brakes, our solutions are optionally available with an emergency stop function to ensure immediate response times in an emergency. The combination of German engineering and decades of expertise in electromagnetic brakes makes our products the first choice for modern door drive systems. Supplemented by powerful rectifiers and electronic components, they meet even specific requirements – for example, through individual adaptations such as mounting flanges, manual releases or sealing caps to protect against dirt and dust. For additional functionality and protection, we offer options such as microswitches for function or wear monitoring and increased protection classes up to IP65.
