Electromagnetic spring-applied brakes for offshore applications
PRECIMA Magnettechnik develops and manufactures corrosion-protected electromagnetic spring-applied brakes for maritime and offshore applications, including FDX and FDW brakes for use on lower and upper decks. The components are characterised by their particularly high reliability, robustness and durability and are designed for braking torques from 5 to 3000 Nm. Designed as holding or service brakes, they are low-wear and suitable for continuous operation in S1 mode. The protection class ranges from IP65 to IP67 and ensures optimum protection against environmental influences.
