PRECIMA develops and manufactures tailor-made solutions for maximum safety and precision for manufacturers of woodworking machines such as saws, CNC milling machines, planers and sanding machines. Our electromagnetic spring-applied brakes are specially designed to meet the requirements of the woodworking industry and offer reliable holding and working functions – from tool change safety devices to emergency stops.
Our FDB and FDW brakes impress with braking torques from 5 to 1,500 Nm and are ideal for use in wood processing. As robust, low-wear components, they are designed for continuous operation (S1 – 100%) and meet the highest protection classes from IP54 to IP66. Thanks to their durability, they stand for efficiency and cost-effectiveness – and are, of course, ‘Made in Germany’.
We offer flexible options for individual requirements: threaded holes for encoder mounting, mounting flanges, and microswitches or inductive sensors for function and wear monitoring. Integrated heaters, temperature sensors and certification for ATEX Zone 22 (dust explosion zone) are also available. Optionally, manual ventilation can be used for manual interventions.
