Compact spring-applied brakes for lifting applications
PRECIMA develops and manufactures electromagnetic safety brakes for manufacturers of hoisting equipment such as rope hoists, chain hoists and winches. Our components are also optimised for vertical load lifting, holding functions and precise positioning, and are ideal for mobile lifting systems, workshop cranes and industrial lifting applications.
Our FDB and FDW series spring-applied brakes impress with their robust, low-wear design and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. With braking torques from 5 to 1500 Nm, they cover a wide range of applications – from light to heavy loads. The high protection class of IP54 to IP66 ensures reliable operation even under demanding environmental conditions.
Numerous features are available as options: threaded holes for encoder mounting, mounting flange, microswitch for function or wear monitoring, inductive sensors for function control, integrated heating, temperature sensor, manual release and versions for ATEX Zone 22 (dust explosion zone).
